Operation KARE Initiative
According to the US Census, of the 19.3 million veterans in the United States today, 3.8 million of them have disabilities connected with their service. Operation KARE seeks to provide mobility support solutions to men and women who have been injured serving our country.
The men of the Kappa Alpha chapter at High Point University would like to show our support and gratitude to those who have served our country.
$50,000 Raised in One Year
In the past year, Operation KARE has been able to raise over $50,000 while expanding a donor network from coast to coast.
In the past year, we have been able to donate two track chairs so wounded veterans can better maneuver in tough terrain and spend more time enjoying their favorite hobbies with their families.
“I’m extremely grateful that a group of individuals came together to assist me in living a richer, more capable life with my family, I am a proponent of focusing on service before self. Seeing members of a fraternity apply this principle in their own lives has provided me with a great appreciation for the men of High Point University’s Kappa Alpha Order.”
